The High Flying Birds meets the Spastic Hawk.
We’ll never hide our love for Noel Gallagher here in JOE Towers because every interview that the former Oasis guitarist gives is absolute gold. He’s also a brillaint musician so that helps.
Limerick duo The Rubberbandits have already conquered the music world with their song Horse Outside so they’ll probably just refuse the offer that Noel made to them on his appearance with TodayFM duo Dermot and Dave today.
Noel was on the show and chatted about Man City, Louis Van Gaal, music, U2, Apple ruining the world, drinking with Morrissey, his new album, The Joshua Tree, an Oasis reunion and the Limerick rappers. It’s a pretty great interview.
On the Limerick duo he said, “I would like to have those guys the Rubberbandits as my backing band. I just stumbled across one of their things on the internet, and God it made me laugh so hard. I like their song about Danny Dyer.”
The Rubberbandits have already given some of their unique insights on the musical world so we’re eagerly awaiting their reply.
FKA twigs is music for girls who go to art college but realise half way through that they want to work at a make up counter instead.

I've a snakey theory,at 2:45 in Kendrick Lamars video for "I" he's deliberately evoking this Marvin Gaye album cover pic.twitter.com/JPlCnAI5jG
