The superstar singer and producer's signature move has been discovered...

We can only imagine how hard it is to write a song, never mind a hit song but Pharrell Williams has been doing it consistently for over 20 years. So what's his secret? The gang over at Disco Pop may have figured out some of the formula. The American has a habit of taking the first beat of the first bar of any song he’s working on, he loops it four times and then he sticks it at the start of the song. Disco Pop have even put together a compilation to show us what they mean. You'll hear songs from "Happy" to "Blurred Lines" to "Milkshake" by Kelis and they all start in the same way. It's one of those things once you hear it, you can't un-hear it; so we hope we haven't ruined Pharrell's music for you.
