Battlefield Hardline has one of the best video game soundtracks ever – Here’s why…

EA certainly knows how to pick some cracking tunes

Oisin Collins

It’s headphone time, folks…

If, like JOE, you’ve been getting stuck into Battlefield Hardline for the past week, you’ll have noticed that the game features more than it’s fair share of brilliant songs. Take ‘I’m Sorry’ by Imagine Dragons, for example, which features on the official Battlefield Hardline release trailer…

We’re not surprised by the excellent selection of tunes, as EA games tend to have some stellar soundtracks. You just have to look at the FIFA and Madden franchises to hear what we mean.

So that’s the reason why we’re bringing you some of the best tunes from the Battlefield Hardline soundtrack.

(The real reason is that we’ve got the tracks below on repeat and we want our boss to think we’re actually doing some work and not just rocking out to ‘Sound of da Police’ and ‘Karma’.)

Jamie N Commons – Karma

Imagine Dragons – I’m So Sorry

KRS-One – Sound of da Police

Death From Above 1979 – Always On

Public Enemy – Welcome To The Terrordome

Transplants – Madness

Ted Nugent – Stranglehold

LISTEN: You Must Be Jokin’ with Aideen McQueen – Faith healers, Coolock craic and Gigging as Gaeilge
