Belfast band Stiff Little Fingers announce plans to go ahead with gig in Paris tomorrow night

Life goes on

Conor Heneghan

Belfast band Stiff Little Fingers have revealed that the band’s scheduled gig in Paris tomorrow night will go ahead as advertised.

A number of events have been cancelled in Paris and in France following the tragic events in the French capital on Friday night, but the band announced that their gig would be going ahead and explained the reasons why in a Facebook post today.

Having formed in Belfast in the late 70s at the height of the troubles, the band have experienced situations similar to the one that exists in Paris right now and their stance has been widely applauded on their Facebook page.

Our sincere condolences go out to everyone affected by the Parisian tragedies. The music business is often sheltered…
