Bloc Party to headline cracking line-up at the 2017 Trinity Ball

Conor Heneghan

Trinity students are in for a treat.

Only days after The Pixies and Alt-J were amongst the names announced for ‘The Summer Series at Trinity College’, more high-profile acts have been confirmed for one of the highlights of the social calendar at Ireland’s oldest university.

Bloc Party have been taking a breather in recent years and their line-up is a bit different than before, but they’re still a very big deal and will provide huge appeal for those heading along to the event on Friday, April 7.

Alongside them on the bill will be Irish acts such as The Riptide Movement, The Strypes and Little Hours and newly emerging Manchester band Blossoms.

You can check out the line-up in full and get more details here; tickets costing €87 go on sale this Wednesday, February 15.
