Over to you Ed.
Is it weird that the only thing that I found really interesting from all of this Twitter back and forth between Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj was that artists actually still care about the VMA’S?
For those of you who didn’t hear, the two singers are feuding due to the fact that Nicki’s upset that her butchering of a Sir Mix-A-Lot track ‘Anaconda’ was allegedly overlooked by MTV for malicious reasons, according to her.
Nicki sent a stream of fairly passive aggressive tweets last night which suggested that MTV ignored her in favour of artists with a more ‘populist’ image.
@NICKIMINAJ I’ve done nothing but love & support you. It’s unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot..

Taylor Swift has since tried to take the sting out of the situation with this tweet below so I’m assuming that it’s all grand between them. Phew, thank god. I was going to lose sleep there.
This being said, another singer has weighed in on the issue with a fantastic tweet also.

Uptown Funk singer Bruno Mars used the opportunity to potentially stir up a new “rivalry” with Ed ‘The Nicest Man in Music’ Sheeran. This tongue in cheek tweet made me laugh.
Yo I want in on this twitter Beef!! VMAs is the new WWF!! @edsheeran Fuck You!
