One of the most highly-anticipated rap albums of the past ten years is finally out
Weezy is back.
Lil Wayne will definitely go down as one of the best rappers of all time.
His contribution to the rap game is up there with anyone's, and he has also brought some of the best rappers of the modern era to the public eye.
But one of few criticisms that people have of him is that he isn't active enough.
He hasn't released in album in three years, and he only really pops up when he's featuring on someone else's song.
But at long last, the wait is finally over.
Carter V dropped on Friday 28 September to the delight of rap fans around the world.
The album has been over four years in the making, with Travis Scott's feature on it being recorded as far back as 2014.
It includes features from some of the biggest names in the rap game, including Nicki Minaj, Drake, Travis Scott, Kendrick Lamar and Snoop Dogg.
One of the songs even ends with a sample from a Barrack Obama speech. How many albums can credit a former President of the United States on it?

And in case you haven't got enough rap music this weekend, Kanye West has announced that a new album will be released on Saturday.
What a time to be alive!
