Hard Working Class Heroes returns this October and we’re delighted because it’s one of the festivals we most look forward to every year. HWCH is in its twelfth year and the idea behind it is to showcase the best in Irish music, Delorentos, The Coronas, Fight Like Apes, Villagers, Lisa O’Neill and Hozier have all played it down through the years.

This year’s festival, which is sponsored by HMV Ireland, will run over three days on October 2,3 and 4 in the following Dublin venues – The Button Factory, The Workmans Club, The Mercantile, The Twisted Pepper, Bad Bobs, The Grand Social and Meeting House Square.

Over 500 bands applied via First Music Contact’s self-built platform Breakingtunes.com and these 100 bands were chosen independently by the top Irish and international music industry professionals.
