Chemical Brothers top the bill in very decent-looking Longitude line-up

Not a bad line-up, not a bad line-up at all.

Chemical Brothers

Not a bad line-up, not a bad line-up at all.

The summer festival season might seem a long way away at this stage, but Longitude organisers gave music fans something to look forward to with the release of this year’s line-up today.

The stand out name in that line-up is, of course, The Chemical Brothers, the English electronic dance duo who have maintained a thoroughly deserved level of popularity for years.

The Chemical Brothers will be the main attraction at the festival on Sunday, July 19, with Hozier and Alt-J being wheeled out to wow the Marlay Park crowds on the Friday and Saturday respectively.

Caribou, SBTRKT and Jungle are amongst the other acts confirmed for the festival with more to be announced in the coming weeks and months.

Tickets for Longitude will cost €59.50 for one day and €149.50 for three-day camping and go on sale next Friday at 9am.
