Cher announces her first Irish show in 15 years

Paul Moore

Cher

The iconic singer is back.

The ‘Shoop Shoop Song’, ‘If I Could Turn Back Time’, ‘Strong Enough’, ‘Believe’, ‘I Got You Babe’, her cover of ‘Walking in Memphis’.

Cher has some absolute bangers in her back catalogue and on that note, we’re delighted to say that the Oscar, Emmy and Grammy award-winner will be playing them all when she arrives at Dublin’s 3Arena on 1 November, 2019, as part of her Here We Go Again Tour.

In doing so, it will be her first date in Ireland for 15 years and aside from her classic tunes, she’s also got a new album called Dancing Queen and you don’t need to be a genius to guess the inspiration for that record.

Oh yes, fresh from her appearance in Mamma Mia 2, her new album is a tribute to the music of ABBA.

Pricing information isn’t available just yet but tickets go on sale this Friday, 14 December at 10am.

We’re expecting plenty of this.
