Irish citizenship is surely coming Nile Rodgers’ way in the near future.
The man has already hit ‘living legend’ status due to his determination to bring disco funk vibes to the masses.
Indeed, that quest does seem to be never-ending, as does Rodgers’ love affair with Ireland as we greet the announcement of Chic’s return to the country.
Having played here no less than four times in 2018, the Nile Rodgers & Chic experience is quite a popular one.
So popular that they can tease a summer show with very little details aside from the date, one that they are asking fans to ensure is kept free.
All we know for now is that Nile Rodgers & Chic will make their long-awaited return on Sunday 2 June, 2019. Special guests will also be involved.
The exact location and venue? Well, that’s a story for another day, with even the official Nile Rodgers website keeping things under wraps.
