Coolio has announced a Dublin gig for this summer

Coolio will perform in Leopardstown in the summer of this year.

That’s right, the ‘Gangsta’s Paradise’ legend will be playing at Leopardstown Racecourse in June.

The 90s rapper, who may be best known for the Kenan & Kel opening theme song, is just the first announcement of Bulmers Live at Leopardstown 2019, with another seven more artists set to be revealed for the summer.

Coolio will play the venue on 13 June, and we’re sure it would be a deadly throwback.

Back in October, Coolio played The Bowery in Rathmines in an event that sold out, as well as four other small venues across the country.

Pat Keogh, CEO of Leopardstown Racecourse said: “Every year, we always look forward to our Bulmers Live evenings here at Leopardstown and this year is no different. We’re really excited to announce this year’s line-up.”

Advance tickets are priced at €17 whilst entrance tickets on the day are €20.

More information can be found here.

And maybe some lucky fans will even end up with Coolio back at their apartment, cooking dinner. It wouldn’t be the first time…
