David Guetta has remixed a beloved children’s nursery rhyme and it is horrendous

It's not good

Carl Kinsella

We’ve come full circle.

David Guetta debuted his ‘brand new record’ at Belgium’s Tomorrowland festival last week, alongside Den Haag duo GLOWINTHEDARK.

Festival-goers lucid enough to make out the lyrics might have been surprised by their familiarity, though:

“If you’re happy and you know it, clap your hands
If you feel it and you know it, clap your hands
If you party and you know it, clap your hands”

That’s right, Guetta has remixed and revised the lyrics to the children’s nursery rhyme “If You’re Happy And You Know It, Clap Your Hands”. In the music business, I think this is known as ‘giving up entirely’.

We aren’t going to stick our necks out and say that this is quite the complete pile of trash that you expect it to be, but we will take this video as confirmation that the festival atmosphere reduces fully functioning humans to babies.

David Guetta a true Tomorrowland friend. #Tomorrowland
