Deadmau5 has announced an intimate Dublin date for later in the year

Rudi Kinsella

Deadmau5 Dublin

This will be great news for a lot of dance fans.

Canadian mega-star Joel Zimmerman, better known as Deadmau5, will be playing in Dublin for the first time since 2014.

The electronic DJ is one of the most well-known artists of his kind on the planet, and will undoubtedly put on a hell of a show.

Interestingly, he is going to be performing at District 8 on 14 November.

The last time he performed in Ireland was to a sell-out crowd at the 3Arena, so this gig looks set to be somewhat more intimate, given the fact that District 8 has a maximum capacity of 1,000.

Tickets go on sale this Friday 1 June at 9am, and will sell out in a matter of minutes without a doubt.

If you are lucky enough to get tickets, you’ll only have all summer to wait…

Let’s celebrate this news by listening to ‘Ghosts N’Stuff’ – the sound of a lot of people’s 2009. Those were the days…
