Dermot Kennedy and Paul Mescal singing together is quite the spectacle
2020 has officially been saved.
Has anyone else on earth had a better 2020 than Paul Mescal?
Seriously. He went from being a budding actor/underage GAA star to one of the most popular actors on the face of the planet, being adored by the biggest celebrities in the world.
And it doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon.
This week he was nominated for an Emmy for his portrayal of Connell in Normal People, and he has since performed a live concert with the incredible Dermot Kennedy.
The duo played a one-off live performance with Kennedy's full band at the Natural History Museum in London on Thursday night, and it was truly special.
The concert was broadcast live, and Kennedy took to Twitter afterwards to say: "Thank you for tonight guys, honestly. It really means the world to me. Thank you for supporting all of this."
A short clip of the iconic duo singing together can be seen here:

There is currently no way to watch the concert back in full, though it is expected that more clips will be posted online at some stage.
Kennedy closed the show with a gorgeous rendition of 'The Parting Glass', and it would be simply unfair not to share that with the world, so we're going to need to see that as soon as possible, please and thanks.
