Eagles of Death Metal offer free tickets to Bataclan survivors as they return to Paris

Tony Cuddihy

Eagles of Death Metal will return to Paris next month for a show at L’Olympia.

Jesse Hughes, Josh Homme and co. will play in the French capital on February 16th. They had originally hoped to return to Le Bataclan, but the scene of November’s terrorist attack has not yet reopened.

Eagles of Death Metal will offer free tickets to any survivors who had been at the tragic show on 13 November, stating on their website: “The people of Paris have always been incredible to us, and our feeling of love towards this beautiful city and its people has been reinforced a million times over this past month.

“Hearing the stories of the survivors, the injured and those who have lost loved ones has been overwhelming. Not returning to finish our set was never an option.

“We look forward to coming back in February and continuing our mission to bring rock ‘n’ roll to the world.”
