Tickets for the four shows in Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Belfast go on sale this Saturday.

Ed Sheeran has added an extra date to his upcoming Irish shows, with Sheeran now locked in for dates in Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Belfast next year.

The 30-year-old had already scheduled dates at Páirc Uí Chaoimh, Cork, on 28, April 2022, Thomond Park Stadium in Limerick on 5 May and Boucher Road Playing Fields in Belfast on 12 May.

He has now announced an extra date, which will take place in Dublin’s Croke Park on 23 April.

The gigs are all in support of his new album = , which arrives on 29 October, just in time for Halloween.

The shows represent a major statement of intent from Aiken Promotions as gigs begin to come back proper, with both Garth Brooks and Bruce Springsteen all but confirmed for Irish shores in 2022.

Tickets for Ed Sheeran’s jaunt go on sale Saturday, 25 September at 8am via Ticketmaster or www.EdSheeran.com.

The promoters have urged all customers to only use the official ticket sites listed and be reminded that Viagogo is “not an official ticket vendor for this tour” as “once again, Ed and his team have a strict stance against anyone using unofficial secondary ticketing sites in order to try and stop fans being exploited when trying to buy tickets for his shows”.
