Ed Sheeran fans fuming as pre-sale tickets sell out in minutes and end up on touting sites

Scandalous…

A small number of pre-sale tickets went on sale this morning for Ed Sheeran’s hotly anticipated gigs in the 3Arena later this year.

The gigs will take place in the 3Arena in Dublin on two nights, Wednesday April 12 and Thursday April 13 with tickets going on general sale on Thursday.

We’ve seen in recent weeks just how difficult it can be to get your hands on those elusive tickets at a reasonable price, as tickets to the U2 concert this summer sold out in less than 10 minutes.

It proved to be the case this morning as pre-sale tickets sold out within minutes and a short while later ended up for sale on third party sites.

Ed Sheeran’s manager took to Twitter to announce the news that all tickets had sold out.

Tickets for the gigs ranged from seats for €76 to €86 and general admission tickets had a face value of €86.

But soon after, a number of tickets appeared for outrageous prices on third party sites such as Viagogo.

As you can see below, a lot of people were trying to buy them…

Even if some of them would set you back a cool €540…
