As is the case every year, tickets for Electric Picnic sold out before an act was even announced.
This is a testament to the trust that fans have in the festival, and with this year’s festival seeing an increase in capacity of 2,500 people, bringing the overall capacity to 57,500, we’re sure it’s going to be a special one.
And if the 40 new acts announced for the festival have given you a bad case of FOMO, well, never fear, because you’ll have one last chance to nab yourself a ticket to the highlight of Ireland’s festival season very soon.
That last chance to get those in-demand tickets will come in the form of the 3Plus app, where a limited amount of tickets will go on sale on Thursday, 25 July.
