Enhance your Longitude experience this weekend with the dedicated festival app

Everything you need, all in the one place

Making sure your Longitude experience goes off without a hitch.

With only days to go until the masses descend on Marlay Park, excitement is building ahead of this year’s edition of the wildly popular Longitude festival.

If you’re lucky enough to be heading along, then you’ll want to know about a new ‘My Festival’ mobile app from Three, which allows festival goers customise their weekend and make the most of their Longitude experience.

The app allows users to create a hub for all elements of the weekend, from stage times to customisable festival line-ups.

With details of the line-up presented by time, stage, artist and location, app users can simply ‘favourite’ who they want to see and have their choices collated into one area for simple access, offering personalised reminders when an act is about to start.

Users can also avail of extra features such a ‘News’ section, ‘About’ for all necessary information regarding travel, ticketing etc. and a map that makes the stage easier to find for all you whose sense of direction leaves a little to be desired.

If you’re taking photos, meanwhile, and we’re sure many of you will be, the ‘Photowall’ feature will collate all photos that carry the hashtag #Longitude2015 in the one place.

Finally, the Longitude app will also play host to a new feature known as 3Deck.

This year, for the first time, Three has partnered with Maser, one of Ireland’s most exciting visual artists, to give music fans the ‘best the view in the house’ with ‘3Deck’, a custom-built viewing platform in front of the main stage.

Music fans can access 3Deck through Three’s own rewards app, 3Plus, where festival goers can book their favourite act’s time slot two hours before, to secure the top spot.

The official Longitude Festival app, powered by Three, will be available on iPhone and Android this Wednesday, July 15th, at 10am.

For more information on the festival, check out the Longitude website.
