EXCLUSIVE: Watch the brand spanking new video from The Riptide Movement first here on JOE

Eric Lalor

Brand new music from The Riptide Movement.

The four likely lads from Lucan are back with a belter of a tune called ‘Changeling‘. It’s the latest single from their brilliant album, ‘Ghosts’ which was released back in October.

The accompanying video is superb too. They enlisted the services of the brilliant Crooked Gentlemen who really captured the mood of the song and its themes of disconnection, isolation and alienation.

We had a chat to lead singer Mal Tuohy about the video and here’s what he said:

“We had the lads from The Crooked Gentlemen in to make the video and we loved what they did,” Mal told JOE.

“It’s a fun video, entertaining and endearing too and it packs a strong message. The story through the video encapsulates the message in the song about peoples belief systems and judging people.

“We like the idea of the video being as good as the song. Hats off to the Crooked Gentlemen and we hope they get the recognition they deserve for it and win loads of awards.”

The Riptide Movement will be appearing all over the place at various music festivals this summer, but they will also be doing these upcoming shows before then.
