VIDEO: Fatboy Slim had a rave for toddlers to repay a favour

JOE

This isn’t the usual Fatboy slim audience.

The DJ, whose real name is Norman Cook, played a two hour set on Sunday at the annual Brighton Fringe Festival.

The event itself, called Baby Loves Disco, is aimed at 0-6 year olds and features at the Festival every year.

This year, they secured a very special act to play for the kids because Cook owed one of the organisers of the festival a favour.

‘When I was promoting bands I got Norman into a gig and afterwards he sent me a lovely fax to say thank you,’ organiser Lesley Woodall told the BBC.

‘I kept it and a couple of decades later used that same fax to try and persuade him to return the favour, not thinking for a second that he’d actually do it.’

The Praise You star has a six-year-old daughter who he brought along to the show.
