Bulmers Forbidden Fruit announce new stage that will feature solely Irish artists

Rory Cashin

This is a fantastic addition for the festival’s 7th anniversary.

Set to take place over the June Bank Holiday Weekend, from Sat 3 to Mon 5, with headliners including Orbital, Aphex Twin and Bon Iver, it wasn’t like anyone needed another reason to head along to the Bulmers Forbidden Fruit festival.

That being said, the organisers have come up with a great new innovation in the form of the Bulmers “Live Stage – One Hundred Percent Irish Artists”.

This is the sixth stage on the roster, and 19 Irish acts are expected to perform on this new stage over the course of the weekend.

The artists confirmed for the new stage so far include Rusangano Family, Talos, Tara Lee, Ryan Vail, Soule, Le Boom, Bad Bones, LAOISE, Ships, The Innocent Bystander, Wastefellow, Barq, Ocho, Super Silly, Mango, Aik J, Heroes in Hiding, Handsome Paddy and Tara Stewart.

Three-day tickets are currently still available, priced at €145.50.
