Here’s how to make sure you get a Longitude ticket tomorrow morning

Rudi Kinsella

On your marks, get set, go!

The Longitude line-up was announced last Friday, and judging by the reaction of the public, it’s not going to be an easy task getting tickets for the weekend.

Acts such as J.Cole, Post Malone, Solange, Migos and J Hus mean that the festival will almost definitely sell out. So when tickets go on sale at 9am tomorrow morning, you’d better be on your toes.

Here are a few tips to help you make sure that you get your tickets on time.

1. Set up a Ticketmaster account.

Don’t delay. Don’t put it off. Don’t tell yourself you’ll get up an hour earlier in the morning to do it, because come on, you won’t. Do it now right here, and make sure all of your details are correct.

2. Add your billing details.

You can add your card details to your account now, rather than rummaging through your wallet tomorrow morning desperately looking for it. Or was it in your jeans? Or your car? By the time you’ve found it, it could be too late.

3. Log in

Log in to your account BEFORE tickets go on sale. Not as tickets go on sale. This should make the entire process run a lot smoother.

4. Use a secure connection

Use somewhere that has a reliable WiFi connection. Preferably at home, or somewhere you trust. Your office could have a slower connection, and before you know it, it’s 9.30 and you’re still trying to log in.

5. Only use one tab

Don’t open multiple browsers or tabs. You may think that this is a genius way of ensuring you get a ticket, but realistically, you’re just confusing Ticketmaster. They may start to think that you’re a robot, and kick you out of the queue.

6. Don’t refresh the page.

You might think the page isn’t working, but we assure you it is. You will be placed in a queue and you will get access to tickets in a fair manner and as quickly as possible. Patience is key in the ticket-getting process. Just follow the instructions on screen. Refreshing the page will lose you your place in the queue.

And there you have it, if you follow these instructions, come July 13th, you’ll be in Marlay Park having the time of your life. Good luck!
