Hollywood sensation Kiefer Sutherland to bring his brand of whiskey-soaked country music to Dublin

Kiefer Sutherland Dublin

Maybe this is what Jack Bauer listens to in his downtime…

Kiefer Sutherland – him off 24, The Lost Boys, Young Guns, Designated Survivor et al – is set to strut his stuff on an Irish stage as he hits up Dublin this summer.

A dab hand at singer/songwriter troubadour heroics in the blues/country tradition, Sutherland will headline The Academy on Saturday 30 June.

No mere phoned-in side project; Sutherland’s music career has seen him play over 120 shows worldwide, winning such rave notices as; “He’s grizzled and passionate; a low rumble, as gravelly as it was authentic” (The Telegraph) and; “The action star’s whiskey-sodden country music set is genuinely poignant.” (The Guardian)

Tickets for Sutherland’s “edgy vocals blended with passion” (Rolling Stone) priced from €33.50 go on sale this Friday 23 March via Ticketmaster and usual outlets nationwide.
