Massive news for the two Irish acts.
South by South West (SXSW) is one of the biggest music showcase events in the world and two Irish acts have been included in the first batch of acts for the festival.
The Academic and Rosie Carney will fly to Austin, Texas in March to play daily showcase gigs and learn from some of the most influential experts in the industry.
Rosie Carney plays live at our Sunday Sessions Live 2 gig at Whelan's on Thursday night while The Academic are a household name in Ireland at the stage.
