JOE will always bring you the best new Irish music and 'You want the Night' by Sleep Thieves is one of our favourite albums by an Irish act this year. The three-piece Dublin band have made a record that has a noir and dark but dreamlike feel to it. However, they almost had a nightmare over the weekend. It seems that Sorcha, Keith and Wayne needed some help getting to Castlepalooza in one-piece...hey! anyone heading down to Castlepalooza in the morning?? we had to gig in Dublin tonight,&our car is in the shop - can we have a lift? :-)

Don't worry though, the band managed to make it down to Tullamore and they were absolutely brilliant. If you missed them over the weekend then fear not, Sleep Thieves are playing at Electric Picnic and they are definitely one to check out.
