Tá go leor daoine croíbhriste.
An Irish language festival which was due to take place in Dublin this summer has been cancelled due to a lack of ticket sales and other contributing factors.
Earlier this week, the team behind Raveloid released a video explaining that they needed to sell another 500 tickets in order for the gig to go ahead.
A post from Raveloid’s official page explained that the event has been postponed “due to a number of production factors.”
“The goodwill shown to Ravelóid among the general public, especially over the last few weeks, both nationally and internationally, has proven that there is a strong demand for a contemporary Irish language music festival. The Board will be working in the coming months on an alternative date.”
People have expressed their disappointed at the news via Twitter.
Féile Ravelóid curtha ar ceal/athlá de réir deacracthaí airgid. Is mór an trua é sin a chloisteáil, bhí neart daoine ag súil go mór léi! ?
