Some amazing events

JOE

‘Tis the season to be merry.

And if you’re going to these amazing gigs, you’ll be very merry indeed.

Budweiser are giving you the chance to win your #DreamChristmas and to celebrate, we’ve put together a list of gigs that would make anyone’s Christmas even more magical.

El Vy – Vicar Street – December 13

Fans of The National are begging and pleading for a new album, but for the time being they’ll have to make do with lead singer Matt Berninger’s side project El Vy. Not to worry, they’re pretty darn brilliant.

Ash – Olympia Theatre – December 15

Ash bring their barnstorming show to the Olympia in mid-December. Musical legends isn’t a term that should be thrown around lightly, but Ash certainly fit the bill.

Their album 1977 is up there with the best Irish albums of all time.

Glen Hansard – Vicar Street – December 20/21

It wouldn’t be Christmas time without the Frames’ front-man entertaining Dubliners. Oscar winner Hansard is in the familiar surroundings of Vicar Street and it’s sure to be a gig to remember.

What better way to spend the eve of Christmas Eve than in the 3 Arena experiencing some of the finest Irish artists around. Hozier is headlining, but get there early as the whole line-up is wonderful.
