WATCH: Irish Rapper releases powerful new video that could make you see immigration in a new light

Immigration video

“I choose to be happy.”

‘Valhalla’, from Irish rapper Darce and featuring Eve Clague from Cork on vocals, deals with “youth in a nation where immigration is an expected norm of growing up.”

Shot on location in Budapest, Hungary, and directed by Mark Holland, the new music video asks immigrants about their own homes and the people both in and out of their lives, leading to some wonderful moments and eye-opening revelations using just a marker, a whiteboard and some straight-up honesty.

For more from Darce, you can check out his debut EP ‘Sunset’ by clicking here, and in the meantime, enjoy…
