Heavy metal gods Iron Maiden will be returning to these shores because the band will headline Belfast’s Belsonic in Ormeau Park on Monday 15 June, 2020.

The rock ‘n roll legends have recently been busy with their Legacy of the Beast North American tour, based on their award-winning mobile game of the same name.

Announced on Monday, they’re going to be bringing their incredible back catalogue of tunes with them when they arrive in Belfast.

With over 90 million album sales, 2,000 live performances in 63 countries, tens of millions of fans and 16 studio albums of quality and power to their name, Iron Maiden have more than earned their proudly-held status as one of the most influential and revered bands of all time.

Speaking about their upcoming tour, Bruce Dickinson said:

“Next year we will play a number of countries and cities we have yet to visit on this incredible tour.

“It’s great to be returning to Belfast, this time for a festival date, and we will certainly go to town and add a few extra items to the show.”

Tickets for the Belfast date go on sale Friday 27 September at 9am from Ticketmaster and usual outlets nationwide.

At present, no pricing details have been announced but keep your eyes peeled.

Elsewhere, the band have also announced that they’ll also be headlining Download Festival alongside Kiss and System Of A Down.

Deftones, Korn, The Offspring, and Disturbed are also on the billing at the famous festival in Donnington with many more to be announced.

At present, that’s a very impressive line-up for Download.
