Last week, Dave Grohl told 2FM’s Rick O’Shea and Cormac Battle that they would be performing at the Meath venue as part of a world tour next year and MCD were glad to confirm the news on Twitter this morning.

If that wasn’t good enough, it’s also emerged that Grohl and company will be supported by our own Hozier as well as Kaiser Chiefs on May 30 next year, with more acts to be revealed at a later date.
Tickets for the gig, which will set you back just short of eighty quid, will be available from 9am on Monday morning and if that doesn’t give you the kick up the arse you need to get next week up and running we don’t know what will.
