The pop giants were confirmed for the event on Thursday night.
Jennifer Lopez and Shakira have announced that they will both perform at the Superbowl half-time show in 2020.
The two will perform at what is undeniably one of the biggest concerts in the world - with over 98 million people judged to have watched the show in 2019.
Lopez and Shakira's performance follow a number of high-profile pop artists in recent years, including Maroon 5, Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga.
This year's event will be the first to be produced by Roc Nation, an entertainment company founded by rapper and businessman Shawn "Jay Z" Carter.
Jay Z had cut his ties with the NFL following their dispute with Colin Kaepernick, but the rapper has since become business partners with the organisation.
This news was poorly received among Kaepernick's supporters, with his lawyer describing it as "cold-blooded."
The 2020 Super Bowl will take place at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida on Sunday, 2 February 2020.
Shakira and J-Lo have both been at the top of the music industry for over a decade, but Lopez in particular is having an extremely strong 2019, with her performance in Hustlers gathering major Oscar buzz already.
