JOE Video Exclusive: Rising star Luke Sital-Singh performs an amazing live version of his single ‘Nothing Stays The Same’

The singer-songwriter recorded the beautiful acoustic number at Bushmills Live...

Joe Harrington

The singer-songwriter recorded this exclusive for JOE.ie at Bushmills Live, the festival of handcrafted whiskey and music…

Luke Sital-Singh is tipped to become a household name in the music world over the next few months and years and, after seeing the talented guy perform live, JOE can easily see, and hear, just why he’s so highly-rated.

Sital-Singh is from South West London, but the music he’s playing was heavily influenced by the Irish music scene and by two people in particular, Damien Rice and Iain Archer.

Rice’s album O was released in 2002 and Sital-Singh admitted in a recent interview that the Irishman’s music really stuck a chord with him, so much so that he learned to play the entire album. There are definite glimpses of Rice’s folk-acoustic sound on the Londoner’s songs.

Iain Archer, who worked with Jake Bugg, is also working closely with Sital-Singh and he even lends vocals to ‘Nothing Stays The Same’ during his performance at Bushmills Live.
