Who: The Lumineers

Where: Olympia Theatre, Dublin

US indie-folk-rock merchants The Lumineers roll into town tonight for a show in the Olympia. Likened a lot to Mumford & Sons, their Irish fans will be looking forward to this one.

Who: 5 Dollar Shakes
Date: April 22
Where: Opium Rooms, Dublin

One of Ireland’s finest up-and-coming bands, 5DSs, will be launching their long awaited ‘Come and See Enough To Stay’ EP this week.

The Wexford band, whose influences include the likes of Two Door Cinema Club and Maccabees, will be performing in The Opium Rooms and it’s sure to be a night to remember.

Who: Bell X1
Date: April 22
Where: Vicar Street, Dublin

One of our musical treasures, Bell X1 return with a gig at the iconic Vicar Street. The lads are busy preparing the release of their imminent new album, Arms, but have released the first single from it which you can hear below:

Who: Booka Brass Band
Date: April 22
Where: Roisin Dubh, Galway

These eight lads are ripping it up everywhere they go. Staples of the festival circuit and having sold out Vicar Street on New Years Eve, they are on the crest of a wave.

Go see them in the Roisin and marvel at their collective wall of sound.

Where: Ulster Hall, Belfast

The former frontman for Seattle band Soundgarden and supergroup Audioslave, the brilliant Chris Cornell arrives in Belfast for a show at the Ulster Hall.

This will be a brilliant gig.
