The biggest-selling instrumental rock guitarist of all time rolls into town for a night of high quality music in the wonderful venue that is Vicar Street. He’s sold around 10 million albums so he must be doing something right.

Where: Aviva Stadium, Dublin
Robyn Rihanna Fenty from Barbados is in town for a big stadium gig in the Aviva. Better known simply as Rihanna, there will be lots of costume changes and some serious shapes being thrown.

Date: June 21
Where: Live at the Marquee, Cork
The godfather of funk and all things shiny, Nile Rodgers and his band Chic are Leeside this week to bring some funk and grooves to the rebels. This will be a very get up and dance kinda gig.

The former Damien Rice protégé is a star in her own right with a couple of critically acclaimed albums under her belt and a new one out later this summer. Lisa Hannigan is a brilliant live act and this gig in the Roisin will be spellbinding.
