Introducing Mothers & Fathers.
Mothers & Fathers are a duo from North Dublin made up of Pamela Connolly and David Balfe. It's the band's second appearance on JOE's New Song of the Day after their track I Will Always Love You featured last May. Their debut EP Gaze comes out on March 24, here's how the band describe it:"This project is a criticism, an all out war on the male gaze in true Trojan Horse fashion. It moves through characters as it progresses, assuming the role of oppressor one moment and suddenly moving outside to critiquing it externally. Ultimately, it openly destroys the male gaze through the characters that populate its lyrics."The opening track called Gush is stunning, listen to the full EP here.
