“Some of the themes are dark (on the record) but they're real and things we feel that everyone can really relate to and understand. "There are themes of isolation, disconnection and of loneliness. We wanted to question the juxtaposition of global technology as we perceive it to be - forcing people apart as it purports to bring us together. Themes of anxiety and of depression, is it a modern day epidemic? There are themes of soul-searching and change, the inevitability of change and the courage to be present. "We wanted to not only highlight these themes as we perceive them to be, but to use them as a backdrop to our own personal stories. We also really wanted to approach them in a positive way. I guess the catalyst of this was ‘Elephant In The Room’."We expect the new TRM record 'Ghosts', their fourth studio album and first since commercial breakthrough, 'Getting Through', to drop this September. Hear all about it first on JOE.
