JOE’s New Song of the Day #306: blink-182 – Rabbit Hole

Carl Kinsella

Blink-182 are back!

The pop-punk pioneers are back on the scene, but they look a little bit different to how you might remember them.

The distinctive valley-boy vocals of Tom DeLonge are gone and he’s been replaced by Matt Skiba, lead guitarist of Alkaline Trio.

Their new track, Rabbit Hole, is quintessential blink all the same. Travis Barker’s machine-gun drumming, Mark Hoppus’ reassuringly melancholy vocals and the unforgettably catchy chorus are all still there – only now with the added bonus of Matt Skiba on the second verse.

If you loved the old blind, you’ll love Rabbit Hole.

If you like the track, you can pre-order their new album California now.
