JOE’s Song Of The Day #558: Dylan Harcourt – ‘Sinking’

Eric Lalor

Dylan Harcourt

Dylan Harcourt is a name to watch.

Dylan Harcourt is a singer-songwriter from Dublin. He began pursuing a career in music in January 2015 as part of a three-piece and since then has played the likes of LINGO festival, NIMHAFF, Finglas Halloween festival etc.

He’s gone out on his own now and is starting to make waves. October 2017 was a significant time for the young singer/songwriter as it marked the release of his debut single Sinking.

He hasn’t rested on his laurels though as April see the release of his EP ‘ICARUS’. After that, his plans take him from Irish shores to parts of Europe in late 2018.

You can check out his debut single, ‘Sinking’ below and it gives you a taste of what Dylan is about as an artist. It’s also one of the tracks on the forthcoming new EP.

It’s a very catchy tune and there are hints of James Arthur and Picture This when you listen to it. It’s a toe-tapping earworm and one which wouldn’t look out of place on any commercial radio stations playlist.

Dylan loves to perform live and he will be doing a live show to launch the EP in April. On April 20, he will be performing at the Underground Venue on Dame Street in Dublin with support from Harry Fennell and Seán McComish.

As an added bonus, anyone who attends the gig will receive a hard copy of the brand new EP.  You can find further details about Dylan and the upcoming EP launch gig by visiting his Facebook page, right here.
