Having delivered a superb cover of ‘Exit’ last month, a version which was praised by no less an authority than Bono himself as being a “great un-fucked up work on a fucked-up song,” Ennis-born singer-songwriter Susan O’Neill (SON) recorded a second cover of a song from The Joshua Tree to coincide with U2’s Croke Park appearance.

It’s not usually a good idea to cover a classic, but SON pulls it off with considerable aplomb. SON’s superb debut album ‘Found Myself Lost’ was released to widespread acclaim earlier this year.
