Hailing from Cork, Stephanie Rainey took the internet by storm with her song ‘Please Don’t Go’. It has accumulated over 10 million streams on various platforms and ensured that she had a lot of offers on her table from record companies.
Her career is going from strength to strength and this song looks like encasing her presence in the Irish music scene even further. Stephanie said about the song “I always say to people, when you hear this song, think of someone. It could be your best friend, your partner, your Mum, Dad, Brother, Sister, whoever. Keep them in mind. Or else think of yourself, and hear it as a sort of letter to yourself. It makes it feel very different”.
