JOE’s Song Of The Day #556: Delorentos – ‘In The Moment’

Brand new song from the Delorentos boys.

Delorentos have been around since 2005 and know how to write a song. Ronan, Kieran, Ross and Nial having been releasing critically-acclaimed albums and for quite a good stretch now. None more so than their wonderful 'Little Sparks' album which earned them the Choice Music Prize for Irish Album of the Year back in 2012. They haven't released an album since 2014 and the Choice Music Prize nominated 'Night Becomes Light'. This Spring, that all changes, when their brand spanking new album arrives. We've already had a little taste of what's to come just before Christmas with their track  'In Darkness We Feel Our Way'. Today sees the release of another new single and another hint at what's to come from the impending new album. The song is called 'In The Moment'. The band describe it as 'a bright, inspiring and melodic paean to capturing, immersing yourself in and living for NOW'. The artwork for ‘In The Moment’ continues the band's current theme of celebrating Irish artists and features a work (Achill By Night) by Gary Reddin.
