The Kerbs are back with a new song.
Following the success of their debut single ‘Changes’, The Kerbs have just released their second single and title track of forthcoming EP ‘I Am Zeus’. The EP is scheduled for release March 2018.
The Kerbs are a four-piece independent alt-rock band from the West of Ireland. After going their separate ways for a few years the lads found themselves back together again in their hometown of Foxford in County Mayo and in Spring 2017 The Kerbs burst back into life.
They are Mark McHale on vocals and guitar, Alex Stupar on lead guitar, Noel Gallagher (not that other guy) on bass guitar and Kevin Holmes on drums. They’ve been friends since childhood and shared similar tastes in music, listening to stuff from Pearl Jam, The Doors, The Stone Roses and the Arctic Monkeys.
I Am Zeus is an upbeat rock song about taking a minute to appreciate what you have and all that surrounds you in a material-driven world.
The song gets its title from those nights where you’ve had one too many and all of sudden you’re standing on a table with your hands in the air screaming ‘I am Zeus I got nothing to lose’ only to wake up the next day with a different view of the world.
