Kitt Philippa is a force to be reckoned with.
Having studied music at Queens University, Kitt Philippa was always destined for a career in music. A classically trained musician and equally adept in piano, guitar, clarinet, prayer bowl and believe it or not, the bicycle wheel.
Couple this musical nous with a voice from heaven and you have quite the package on your hands. Although raised on classical, the songs she releases are strangely urban and often conveyed with digital sleight.
This song, her latest single is an emotive plea, a call to be close and to be kind, to rediscover that most beautiful denominator. “Times are troubling,” and while “…there’s an acknowledgement of that pain, somehow hope tries to rouse you.”
