Shookrah sounding as sweet as ever.
Shookrah are a six-piece 'Future Soul' band from Cork. There is a great buzz around them having won the Irish Times Best Irish Act of 2017. They've had two EP releases in five years and it was the second one, 'Cliches', which really enhanced their reputation.

The band is made up of Senita Appiakorang (lead vocals), Imelda Cormican (backing vocals), Emmet O’Riabhaigh (drums), Brian Dunlea (bass), Diarmait Mac Cárthaigh (keys-synth) and Daniel Coughlan (guitar).
The new song is a track taken from debut album which is planned for release in early 2019. 'Don't Wanna Doubt You' is an instructional guide on seduction, alleviating any confusion around the right approach to respectfully charming your love interest.

Recorded and produced by Brendan Fennessy (O Emperor), it's a tune bursting with soul and class. Shookrah are a serious outfit and look destined for bigger and better things in the years ahead. Definitely a band on the ascent.
