Alice Kiernan

Alice Kiernan is our newest popstar.

Alice Kiernan is a 22-year-old singer/songwriter from Dublin, who has just released her debut single. Since the age of 16, Alice has been gigging and performing in venues around Dublin and the rest of the country.

She has opened for acts such as Ham SandwicH and Paddy Casey in the likes of Whelan’s, The Academy and Cyprus Avenue. With all the gigging, as well as posting covers and her own original work online, she gained a small following. This is her first official release as a solo artist.

Alice has stepped back from her acoustic guitar and has released a track which takes inspiration from various female pop artists such as Lorde, Florence and Ellie Goulding. The song focuses on the moment people are faced with the situation they are scared of the most. They either fight or they flight. They stay or run.

It’s a promising debut from the young singer and a very well-produced record. Her plan is to release more singles over the next year as well as getting back to doing live gigs.

She’s definitely one to keep an eye on and if you’d like to find out more, you can check out her Facebook page right here.
