JOE’s Song Of The Day #715 – Jester ‘In The Meantime’

Eric Lalor

Jester

Jester courting us with a great new track.

2018 was a busy year for hard working Thurles band Jester. It saw them sign a deal with Independent UK record label Velvet Moron Records, the brainchild of David White, who has worked with Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, ELO, Biffy Clyro and Kasabian.

Exalted company indeed, but the lads show enough promise to justify the stablemate tag with their more illustrious peers.

Jester

The band formed over a decade ago in Tipperary and have had a lot of success over the years playing festivals and club gigs the length and breadth of the country and beyond. They’ve shared the stage with some of the biggest acts in the world including The Who, Arctic Monkeys and Paul Weller amongst others.

Jester will be releasing their debut album, Shadow Needs A Light, this coming March, an album which will include today’s featured track, ‘In the Meantime’.

The band will be touring just after the album release in March and you can get more details via their Facebook page right here.
