JOE’s Song Of The Day #735 – Peco ‘Monster’

Eric Lalor

Peco

Peco is piquing our interest with this track.

Hailing from Kildare, Peco is an Irish artist whose music is a blend of indie-rock, folk, and pop. His songs are guitar-based with a strong emphasis on melody and lyrics.

Before going solo, Peco was the singer-songwriter behind folk-rock act Valentine Black. This is the first release from his debut album, The Middle Ages. We’ve featured his stuff before too.

Peco

It’s a moody and anthemic slice of indie rock with lyrics of regret and angst thrown in for good measure. The acoustic folksy tone of his previous release, And So I Arrived At The Start, have morphed into a much fuller electric sound.
