Rebel Phoenix, born and raised in Dublin, has been a relevant and well respected name in Irish hip-hop for the past few years.
2019 has already been a busy year for Rebel Phoenix, kicking it off with a sold-out headline show in Wigwam, followed by another headliner in The Grand Social.
Only recently, he was announced as one of the artists long-listed to play this year’s Glastonbury Festival. Their emerging talent competition received entries from thousands of musicians from various genres, making this a very exciting achievement for the Dublin rapper.
As well as entertaining his own audiences, Rebel Phoenix enjoys supporting international artists who travel to Ireland while on tour.
‘Limitless’, dubbed by Rebel Phoenix himself as “the people’s anthem”, is the rapper’s first single of 2019. It’s inspired by the phrase “we are built in the image of God”. Rebel has used the universe in which all human beings exist and stem from as a representation of what he believes to be our one true God.
